Asus has recently confirmed that the next iteration of Android’s OS Jelly Bean will be coming to Transformer Tablets very soon. Asus made the announcement shortly after announcing that it was already working on updating its smartphones to Android 4.1.
The company’s Transformer Pad,Transformer Prime and Transformer Pad Infinity tablets are all scheduled to receive an update to Jelly Bean “in the coming months.” If you happen to be the lucky owner of any of these tablets than you are in for a treat. If you are an owner of the Original Transformer or Transformer Slide, don’t fret as Asus does state that it will be testing Jelly Bean on these devices as well may receive the update also.

We are pleased to announce that many of our tablet products are scheduled to receive an update to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean. The ASUS Transformer Pad, ASUS Transformer Pad Prime and ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity are all scheduled to receive Android 4.1 updates in the coming months. We will provide further guidance on our expected timeframes for these updates near their release.
We are still investigating Jelly Bean updates for other devices, but we are not in a position to confirm whether any other products will be eligible for an update at the moment.
