Well what do you know, looks like the present patent wars are just not going to end anytime soon for Android or any Tech Company for that matter and Fujifilm has decided to join the party and has decided to go after Motorola. Why Motorola? Who knows, specially if this has anything to do with Android or the actual patents Fujifilm claims Motorola infringes on. Although I think Android is out of the loop on this one.
Fujifilm is bringing 4 specific patents to court, which include the following:
The patents in question mostly involve communications by a telephone, face detection from a camera and the processing of colors when taking pictures. It almost seems that these patents are very general and thus other companies could be blamed for the same but Fujifilm may be looking for a more specific set of code manipulation that may have been done by Motorola.
All we can do at this point is wait and see how Fujifil presents its case to a judge.
