Mailbox for iOS Coming Soon – Gestures Are Only the Beginning

Mailbox for iOS is a pretty neat app that according to the company lets you swipe your email away for later viewing if you are busy and don’t want to deal with that email at that exact moment. Mailbox wants to make email delivery as fast and secure as possible, from the cloud pushed right to your device.

One of the most interesting features of the app is being able to snooze away emails for later today, tomorrow, this weekend or some other day. There are of course a couple of caveats, one being that for now the app only works with Gmail and will probably cost money once is released to the public. For now the developers are only accepting reservations in the run up to launch.

“Stop staring at emails you can’t deal with now,” it says on Mailbox’s website. “Mailbox lets you put off messages until later with a swipe and a tap. Snoozed emails return to your inbox automatically, so you can focus on what’s important now.”

You can go on to their website by clicking on the source link below and if you are invited to the beta and install the app on your iPhone let us know what you think by commenting below.

I can tell you Gmail for iOS is not that great from what I hear. This app is actually cool since you can snooze email for later viewing and it reminds you.

I hope other mail clients are added and I will say goodbye to the gmail app.
